Welcome to the Faculty of Education! I trust that your experience with us will be enriching and that ultimately it will provide you with a sound basis for developing a rewarding and productive career in the field of education. As you undertake your program of study, I hope that this introductory resource will help you to develop the skills and knowledge that are necessary for operating successfully as a student at the University of Wollongong.

Staff and students in the Faculty of Education, as well as others within the University and many people outside, have worked together to produce this resource. It is a good example of the commitment we all have for supporting students who are beginning their pre-service teacher training. It also demonstrates the benefits of collaboration by drawing on the knowledge and experiences of so many different people.
