Counselling

The Uni provides a free and confidential counselling service to assist postgraduate and undergraduate students with personal, work or study-related difficulties. See the Counselling & Psychological Service website or call 4221 3445 for further details.

Disabilities

Access and resources are available for enrolled students with medical conditions, injuries or disabilities that impact on their studies. The Disability Liaison Officers facilitate the transition to University life through to completion of studies. Advice and support, assistive technology, advocacy, an Access Room, alternate exam arrangements and accessible parking may be provided. Students are encouraged to register with supporting documentation prior to or as soon as possible upon commencement of their studies. Medical Services

The student Medical Centre is located on Level 1, UniCentre (Bldg 11) and provides students and staff with dental, optical and doctor services. To make an appointment phone 4226 2199, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Full dental services with an emphasis on cosmetic and preventative treatment.

A discount of 15% for accounts paid within 48 hours. EFTPOS, Bankcard, MasterCard and Visa facilities are available as is Hicaps Systems to claim private health insurance on the spot.
