Getting around

Parking

Parking is a BIG issue at Uni, so big that I have no hope of covering the necessaries in a hundred words. The rules are very specific and are entirely inflexible. A couple of points though:

• There are no longer ANY parking permits available for students, with Pay and Display ruling the day.
• The Western carkpark has cheaper Pay and Display rates than the others (e.g. 0 - 4 hours = $1, other = $2).
• If you don't want to pay the fee, and need to park in the local area, don't block residents' drives or you'll be towed away!
• Get here early! The 0830 traffic jams are legendary.
• Also legendary are the difficulties finding parking after 1030 – especially in the Western Carpark.
