Getting around
Getting here
There are many ways of getting to the university, no matter which direction you are coming from. Public transport is readily available, or you can travel privately.

Two wheels good, four wheels bad
(with apologies to George Orwell)
'Get on your bike!' was never truer than for getting to Uni. It's cheap, healthy and environmentally sound - do you need any other reasons? Check out Information About Bicycles page for info about bikes on campus.
- Access the website above for rack locations
- The bike racks outside the main library are often full by 0900
- The racks at the west side of Bldg 17 (number 35 on the bike map; see website) are under constant security surveillance
- Undercover racks are in short supply, but can be found on the eastern and western sides of Bldg 20, Bldg 36 and Bldg 25 (if it's a southerly, the latter will still get wet)
- If you park your bike anywhere other than a rack, then it can be impounded!
If you want to make use of your bike outside of Uni time, then check out the Cycle Wollongong brochure [PDF] put out by Tourism Wollongong. The map has details of all the longer cycle paths in the area.
