Getting around

Building codes

Every building on campus has a number and, within each building, rooms are coded in particular ways. So if you see 67.107 you know that “67” is the number of the building (in this case, the McKinnon building in the middle of campus), whilst the room number is 107. The first “1” tells you that the room is on the first floor and “07” indicates that it is the seventh room in the sequence on that level.”

It’s a good idea to take a campus map with you for the first few weeks of each session to help you find where you are going, and remember, if in doubt – ask for help. Everyone is friendly and willing to help, so don’t be afraid, just ask!
